Lia Pascaniuc

Image

Lia Pascaniuc was born in 1981, she studied contemporary art and crafts in Marginea, Romania, continuing in Turin (Italy) in the economic field with her thesis “Tutela pubblica dei beni artistici di proprietà privata”, where she currently lives. Though she never abandoned her privileged form of expression: art photography. An expressive and personal approach based on individual abstraction and conception of visual perception of space. Her artistic experimentation, with this medium, is in constant and reflexive movement, encouraged by Maestro Franco Fontana who worked as an assistant in the workshop at the Turin Polytechnic University.

A part from creative and experimental photography, Pascaniuc produces other kinds of installations site specifically using new technologies.

The nature and its evolution as a changing structure and stage of human life is a constant inspiration, constantly enriched by several world-wide travels. She is attracted by the forms of nature and their games with light, by the environment in its complex and surreal shapes. This is the core of her artistic curiosity. Starting from what She sees around her she creates conceptual images, transmuting them in concrete visual and sensory figures. Pascaniuc observes patiently to get the perfect light, the inspirational font. Capturing the contrast between the cold and the heat source that run through the image as a luminous flux. Her other subjects include: the water and all its states, simply a detail found in nature and the geometries that surround us.

She has 5 available work of art in different formats, guaranteeing uniqueness, they are part of the permanent collection of the Forever Olympic Art Center Beijing (China), Civic Gallery of Modena Museum (Italy) and Florean Contemporary Art Museum (Romania) other private collection.
